Collaboration with Ingrid Clare painting and Caroline Sharkey stitching
The whales were painted on a stabilized cotton fabric, painted by Ingrid with acrylic paints and sent to Caroline. Thread stitching all the details into the Whales, flowers and water by Caroline, Also adding highlights to the whales and some flowers with organza and sheer fabrics, stitching details into flowers and adding free motion leaves. Adding some touch up extra areas with paint by Caroline to finish the surface, quilted by Caroline and facings added.
